Overview

Venngage is a simple yet powerful design tool for busy professionals. Primarily a B2B SaaS tool, Venngage targets to empower individuals and teams that lack design experience. The tool offers thousands of customizable templates a user-friendly drag and drop editor.

Goals

  1. Increase homepage registrations of our core users in the US by 20% .

  2. The secondary goal we had to impact was to create a cohesive brand and to apply it to the secondary pages.

Results

  1. By redesigning and updating the homepage we increased registrations of our core users in the US by 26%.

  2. Redesigned and released 30+ "category" pages (ex. Infographic maker, mind map maker, timeline maker, report maker, etc.) which increased registrations rates by 17%.

  3. Designed and released 12 new "solution" pages targeted towards specific JTBDs.

Secondary Goals

Maker Pages
Redesigning our category pages was crucial for our SEO since this was the first touch point some of our users have with Venngage as a Brand.

Updated the Internal CMS
Worked closely with the SEO Marketing Lead, Product Designer, QA and Engineering teams to update the Internal CMS tool to create a template for the marketing team. This empowered the internal team to independently update these high impact landing pages on their own by simply swapping out assets/ copy.

After releasing the Internal CMS, we also had to prioritized releasing Diagram Maker, Flowchart Maker, and Mind Map Maker landing pages to coincide with the product launch of these features.

Solution Pages

Wanting to target our core customers and their specific use cases, we developed the solutions pages. The goal of these 12 pages were to increase the core role registrations and these included: executive leaders, human resources, marketing, healthcare, finance, real estate, project management, training & development, sales, IT/ engineering, product development and project management.

For the navigation bar I worked closely with the product design team to identify which symbols we should use to represent our core customers.
